I am looking for a cure for toe-nail fungus. I have read online about home remedies..including soaking in Listerine that works. My question (I have tried this) Should I soak my toes in Listerine that has a specific *fluoride* treatment? This seemed to work best, but I am aware of the dangers of fluoride.

I started using NAFTIN for some slight nail fungus I recently acquired. Will it help get rid of it, and must I use a different product?

My big toe nail is brown and kind of crusty. After reading some articles online I think it’s a fungus. I want to get rid of it as soon as possible so I can go out on the beach without having to hide my toe.

I have this patch of white nail fungus on my toe and it has been there for over a year. I heard that vicks vapor rub will get rid of it. I just wanted to make sure before I actually tried it.

Over a year ago now, I was going to a nail shop to have the acrylic nails maintained and got nail fungus because of poor hygiene practices of the shop. The doctor said there is a medication for it but that it costs $1000.00 dollars and only a 50 percent chance it will cure it. I heard that vicks vapor rub and tea tree oil work, but so far, no luck. Any home remedies you can give would be much appreciated.

Each of my big toes has a stripe of fungus under the nail at the edge. I have been trying fungus sprays with no effect. I have good hygene and don’t understand how this happened. I have no insurance and the prescription for this is 174.00. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I just hope I’m not crazy even though I’ve been told that it is highly plausible that I am in fact insane.

i’ve been wearing acrylic nails off and on for two years. recently when i got them done, i noticed a small dark spot on the corner of the pink part of my pinky nail. that is gone, but part of the pink part of my nail is like a white-ish color. oh i smelt it one day & it kinda smells like mildew. ew. is this a fungus?

The advertised ingested medication is hard on the liver, must be taken for several months, not covered by insurance (oh, because a nail fungus is cosmetic) and does not have a good track record for sucess of no-repeat.
