Can I take a shower after someone who has graves disease?

My roommate told me today that he was treated for Graves disease, in that they had to admninister a radioiodine to his thyroid. When I came home he suggested that I spend the night elsewhere to use the restroom and shower because of his radioactive urine and saliva. Should this be an issue? if so would shower slippers suffice, and as long as I am not dipping my penis in the toliet I shodl be fine right?

I have had graves disease since 96 and have had 2 seperate surgeres 1 rim implant the other lid let down and they told me that they would never go down. I’m concerned if I will be like this for ever. Do you or do you know someone that has this problem or had this problem

a had a thyroid storm and found out i have graves disease i’ve seen people talking about radioactive iodine treatment yet it sounds maybe not worth it could i just live on my meds and never have surgery or the iodine treatment and be fine???

My wife was diagnosed with Graves Disease a few months ago, which is a thyroid condition. Now she wants out of the marriage and to move away, saying she doesn’t love me anymore. I know her hormones are out of balance, but this? Has anyone known someone with this disease that has experienced similar issues?
