The “bullseye” is certainly indicative of Lyme, but it is quite possible and fairly common to have Lyme without it. See your doctor!

If you were bit by an Ixodes tick, there would be a red mark around the bite. That would be a sign for Lyme disease. If you were bitten by a lonestar tick, you would have a “Bullseye” rash, indicating a condition similar to Lyme disease called STARI. It is similar, except it doesn’t cause long-term problems like Lyme disease does. I would go to your doctor. I am not sure if the rash has to be present or not because sometimes people end up with Lyme disease and they didn’t even know they were bit by a tick.

Hello~
Up to 60% of infected people never see a rash, (a tick or a tick bite for that matter).

If you suspect Lyme disease, you will need to arm yourself with knowledge – your life could depend on it.
In your search for information on Lyme disease, you will see a lot of conflicting information. Much of that information will be from or endorsing the diagnosis and treatment guidelines of the IDSA. It is important to know that the IDSA Lyme guidelines have been found fraudulent by the CT Attorney General. You can confirm that here:
